Q: Just what does Sôcôla mean?
A: “Sôcôla” is a Vietnamese word for “chocolate.”  That’s who we are – hardcore “Chocolate Chocolatiers.”

Q: Do you have a storefront?
A: No, we do not.  We ship our chocolates nationwide via our "Order Online" option.  In the Bay Area, our chocolates are available at Bi-Rite Market, a number of Whole Foods Markets and other specialty shops.  For custom or large orders, please contact us directly.

Q: What inspires your flavors?

Q: Where can I buy these chocolates?  Will all your flavors be available?
A: You can purchase all our chocolates from our website.  You can also find them in stores like Bi-Rite Market and various Whole Foods locations.  Click on "Where to Buy" for more information.  Please check in with the retailer—they will typically stock only an assortment of Sôcôla truffles.

Q: Do your chocolates have a suggested shelf life?
A: The fresher, the better, right?  Since Sôcôla uses no preservatives, we recommend that you enjoy our truffles as quickly as possible—recommended within 6 weeks.

Q: What kinds of ingredients do you use?  
A: We use high-quality local and organic ingredients. We have a crush on Straus Family Creamery and E. Guittard chocolate.  Both companies are family-owned and operated and based in the Bay Area, reducing the carbon footprint of sourcing our ingredients.

Q: Can I use the online store for orders of any size?
A: At this point, Sôcôla Chocolatier is dedicated to making fresh-to-order chocolates.  We have special offers (on a monthly basis) that allow customers to order small quantities.  If you add your email address to our mailing list, we’ll notify you about any special-offers periods.  We also allow customized orders for select events, such as weddings, galas, and corporate gatherings.  Contact info at socolachocolates dot com for more information.
